We defended a defamation case where our client’s agent had committed online libel per-se, posting a defamatory statement on CraigsList during the course of her duties. Expanding upon the existing law known as “John Doe” service of process, we convinced the lower court the claim against our client was barred by the statute of limitations. The plaintiff served a notice of appeal from the decision which we then dismissed by motion.
